That was my challenge with Allison & Jake’s August wedding in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This was the hardest assignment I gave myself. And here I am, sitting at my computer one day before I want this blog to launch and I’m still debating if I made the right choices.

I chatted with Mallory over the phone after she saw my invitations on Pinterest. I knew we’d get along right away when she talked about really wanting something custom for their wedding at Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center.

With my process, I plan time in for multiple revisions, feedback and conversations with the bride & groom about the design of their wedding invitation. And a few times, that time is limited.

I’m sure when Micaela & Spencer set their wedding date for June 29, the probably considered it could be hot that day. I mean, we are in Omaha, Nebraska and it’s the middle of summer.
