Classic, Traditional Wedding Invitations with a touch of Industrial

How to bring in a touch of industrial into a super chic, traditional and classic wedding.

That was my challenge with Allison & Jake's August wedding in Lincoln, Nebraska. The challenge was accepted because I totally got what they wanted. They wanted something truly their own. Allison's dream wedding was everything she's been dreaming about, but they wanted to bring in a bit of Jake's style as well.

We started with beautiful Save the Dates and then for the invitations, we brought in copper foil with a small geometric, industrial detail in the corners. That with the amazing script font we used throughout AND a vellum band + wax seal...I think we nailed it.

The wedding day items were just as beautiful bringing that copper foil back into their ceremony programs. I also helped layout and design their seating chart made from a wire grid. The grid was a blank slate at the beginning and I was able to layout how the cards were to be placed on the grid as well as the "Celebrate" title to top it all off. On point for their style.

This couple was a true joy to work with. I know they've dreamed about this day for a long time and I was so honored to be a part of it.

Oh, and if you feel like a good cry, check out their video from Lacework Films. It gets me every time.
