Red, White & Beautiful: Monona Terrace Madison, Wisconsin Wedding

I chatted with Mallory over the phone after she saw my invitations on Pinterest. I knew we'd get along right away when she talked about really wanting something custom for their wedding at Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center. I wasn't familiar with that venue of course, so I went to my friend, Google.

Venues always give me a great insight into the vibe of a couples wedding. And when I looked up this place I was on board. Gorgeous outdoor ceremony is what Mallory & Garrett had in mind. And with a right after Independence Day wedding in Wisconsin, I couldn't imagine a better combination.

We played with fonts and layout for their invites, but we knew these had to feature the gorgeous red/scarlet they were bringing into their wedding day. I mean, Madison, Wisconsin is home of the Badgers, so this made sense (we did have a little talk about Nebraska vs. Wisconsin but we agreed this would be settled on the football field this year).

I love what we came up with especially the beautiful red envelopes we paired this suite with. I mean, c'mon...when guests get this in their mailbox, there is no doubt it's going to catch their attention.

We also created ceremony programs and place cards for their beautiful wedding day.

And beautiful it was. These photos are stunning and am I right? Does this venue not set the vibe for their entire wedding day? I love every single one of these photos.
