Letterpress is a process of printing that dates back to the 15th century. And since this is not a history lesson, I will spare you the century by century details of the invention of the first letterpress machine by Johannes Guthenberg. But let’s talk about how it got to be one of the most sought after print processes for wedding invitations.

I started seeing the trend a year or so ago. Like most trends, it takes a while to get to the Midwest. So, when Caleigh & Cory found a semi-custom invitation design and wanted to turn the colors terracotta for her late summer Omaha wedding, I was ecstatic.
