Wow.  What a great day in the history of the U.S.  Today, everyone can get married.  EVERYONE!  This is such a great day in our country…it’s hard to describe but I have goosebumps.

The wedding season is in full bloom for 2015, but I had to take a moment to try and catch up with the Fall weddings of 2014.  There were some BEAUTIFUL weddings last fall with this one being one of those.

It’s been nine months since I moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  There has been some ups and downs with the transition to a new area and now, another big change is ahead.

It’s the time of year.  Not only am I tackling late spring designs for couples, but late 2015 and 2016 brides are emerging and wanting to talk invitations.  Which is wonderful!

I recently blogged about an Omaha couple (Megan & Ross) who had a beautiful church/city style wedding.  It was elegant and beautiful.  The same time I was blogging on Megan I got an email from Shawna, a bride who got married this past Fall.

It’s now been officially 5 months since me, my family and my business moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  It’s been quite the little transition, but we are getting settled.

Simple.  It’s a word that couples use sometimes when we first meet to discuss wedding style.  And sometimes, these couples use that word with other words such as “plain” or even “boring”.  Not in my world.  Simple is beautiful. And that’s where we started with Tiffany and Cody.

Well, they had fireworks.  And after you see the photos below, you’ll agree with me, their style was spot on regardless of the day of the year Kristin and Adam had their wedding on.

When I see photos of Megan and Ross’s wedding, I can’t help but think this is the type of wedding Megan had been dreaming about since she was 7 years old, or whenever little girls start dreaming about their wedding.  Beautiful bride, handsome groom, large beautiful church and every last detail was elegant perfection.
