When I see photos of Megan and Ross’s wedding, I can’t help but think this is the type of wedding Megan had been dreaming about since she was 7 years old, or whenever little girls start dreaming about their wedding. Beautiful bride, handsome groom, large beautiful church and every last detail was elegant perfection.
And that’s how I envisioned it too when I first met Megan, her mom and mother-in-law early 2014. Megan wanted nothing but classic in every element. Her invitations were designed with exactly that in mind…and trust me, classic elegance may look easy, but is definitely not that. We wanted to show that classic look Megan was searching for, but make it their own too. Their invitations were black on ivory with a second layer of a navy blue linen paper adhered to the back. This gave the invite substance and that little bit of color Megan had throughout her wedding day. The RSVP postcard and guest information card were both beautiful. We printed all guest names and addresses on the envelopes to round out the entire package.
For wedding day, we created a folded, classic wedding ceremony program as well as a long skinny menu that gave the table a pop of shine with the cream metallic paper it was printed on.
Such a great couple and I loved working with them. Congrats…wishing you a lifetime of happiness.
