Winter Omaha Wedding Holds Nothing Back at A View on State

One of these weddings happen each year. The wedding that holds nothing back. And this Omaha wedding at A View on State was that wedding.

And it doesn't hurt when the groom is an event planner himself.

I've known Steven for a few years being in the wedding industry in Omaha. He's the owner of 402 Events and we've worked on quite a few weddings together in the past few years. So when he got engaged, he looked at me and said, "Oh, by the way, you're doing everything for our wedding."

Seriously, Everything for this Wedding

I'm not quite sure I knew exactly what "everything" was at that moment, but I soon learned. EVERYTHING. From Save the Dates, to menus, to hanging bar signs, hanging seating chart, welcome sign, acrylic table numbers, programs, monogram, signs, thank you cards....I know there is more. Because I see photos and film from Steven and Kati's gorgeous November wedding and I see my work. And everything put together, from hanging crystal chandeliers to unbelievable floral, was perfect.

My favorite pieces for Steven and Kati's wedding was the hanging acrylic seating chart, bar signs and table numbers. This was the first time I've back painted acrylic. After a few tests, I loved the look. I mixed a half gallon of navy paint and got to work one Saturday afternoon. The kitchen was acrylic drying central. I'm hoping to do this more for 2021 and 2022 weddings.

Hire Professional Vendors...do I say this enough?

Steven is in the wedding industry so he knew what he wanted for his wedding day (and a bride who was so chill), but this wedding proves to me once again that when you TRUST your wedding vendors and hire high-quality, professional vendors...your wedding day will come together seamlessly.
