Just Gorgeous.

No other words can describe the wedding of Jess & Phil last July in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. You know the Omaha Design Center will always impress and the beautiful St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church is one of my favorite in the city.

Pocket Wedding Invitations were a perfect match for this spring wedding.

We’re in a neutral world. The color tones I often see for weddings in the past two years have centered on neutral colors…ivory, white, blush, gold.

Modern rustic.  Two crazy words together. But being in the wedding industry, I can have a couple say something like that and I know exactly where they’re headed.  Mainly, rustic but no burlap.  Bring in some classic elements and don’t be afraid to make it stylish, but fun.

Omaha has a great wedding vendor community and I love working and meeting so many vendors in the city (and state!).  I met Ashley Nicole Photography a few years ago at a Tuesdays Together meeting.

There aren’t many brides I get to design for that truly love a modern look.  Straight lines, san serif fonts, large lettering…you get it.  But I met Ashley & Sean and that’s exactly what they wanted.  I didn’t have much to show them that went with their style.

There is a wedding like this that rolls around once a year for me.  I just didn’t see it coming when I met the GROOM at a bridal show.  Yes, the groom.  Solo.  His bride couldn’t make it but he wanted to come and get information for her.

I hear that once in awhile during a invitation consultation.  I tell all couples when we meet and I’m pulling out my bins of invitations, that none of the invitations I’m going to show them are exactly their style. That’s what’s great about custom invitations.
