By now I’ve met with a handful of 2020 brides and I’m starting to see a few themes and trends emerge. And some trends are running over from 2019 because they’re just so popular and beautiful.
Let’s break down some of the trends I’m seeing for 2020!

Dark & Moody
This trend is peeking into the Midwest and I’m excited to get back to some dark, rich colors for weddings. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still lovin’ blush and champagne colors, but it’s time for a change. I’ve designed for a couple 2019 weddings which embraced this look and I’m ready for more.

Dusty Rose/Mauve
Call it what you want, a dusty rose or deep blush is mauve and I’m seeing more and more of this for 2020. In fact, it’s probably the trend I’m seeing the most of in Omaha, Nebraska for this coming wedding season. I love the use of this color with other mauve tones throughout the wedding.

Burgundy & Navy
Burgundy with Navy is sticking around for 2020. I’ve worked with this play on colors in 2019 and a bit in 2018, but I’m seeing it more for this coming wedding season. The bold colors paired with loads of greenery and blush is classic and beautiful.

Black & White Classic
I’m not sure if this style is really a trend because it’s surely timeless. Every year I see couples just breaking it down to basics and bringing in black, white, ivory and gold. I’m seeing more and more black tux weddings and I’m not mad at all.
