Nothing beats a beautiful white and gold classic wedding invitation. And then a gold foil light gray belly band?!? I mean…
But first, the wedding…
But before I get ahead of myself talking about Aimee & Justin’s November 2020 wedding, you need to know the wedding day story. Because it’ll be one they tell for the rest of their lives.
Think back to November 2020. Things were starting to get kinda hairy in the Covid-19 realm. Weddings were being postponed (again) and alternative plans were being made. Mask mandates were being implemented along with capacity restrictions at events. And when you’re a week away from your wedding day with 200+ people attending, you start to panic.
At least I would have. I’m not sure if Aimee and Justin did, but what they did do was change gears. The week of their wedding, they changed their reception venue. Yes, the week OF their wedding. With that, other changes had to be made and compromises met. But if you didn’t know all of that, you never would have guessed by seeing their wedding photos.
Simple, elegant wedding invitations
The day and the couple were beautiful. And now I can talk about the invitations?
Because these things were on my top 10 list for 2020. I’m a simple elegance lover…so these fit that bill perfectly. The white space. The simple gold on white. And that belly band that just tied it all together.
We also designed ceremony programs, signs on white acrylic with gold lettering, table numbers, marble place cards and thank you notes to round out the paper suite. All of these things were perfect for their wedding day.
