My set up for this show was great and I need to give thanks to my fabulous and talented hubby who created my invitation display in only 2 days. Check it out! The stairstep display gave me a chance to showcase many of my bridal suite packages all together, allowing brides to see how each piece created for their invitations and wedding day are coordinated.
A few things I took away from the show include:
- Summer brides of 2014 are out and in the market to plan their wedding. It may be a little soon to design invitations for these brides, but it is time to start thinking about Save the Dates. The average time to send out Save the Dates are 6 months prior to your wedding. Christmas time makes a great time to send out Christmas/Save the Date cards as well!
- Can you believe I met some brides who are 2015 brides?!?! That seems so far away but will be here before you know it. If you’re wondering why venues get booked so far in advance, there is your reason.
- Coral and hot pink…those colors of invitations not only stood out to brides who past my table, but also are two very trendy and popular colors for upcoming weddings. I’ve done some great stuff with these colors and if you’re thinking along these lines, let’s talk.
If I met you at the DC Centre Bridal Fair, I’d love to talk to you more and provide you a quote for custom invitations for your wedding. Give me a call or shoot me an email!
