Postponed Midwest Wedding Brings Light Pastel Colors to Autumn

Alli and James were a couple who postponed their early summer 2020 wedding. This couple had to give up their original wedding date, but they did not want to give up their amazing venue or beautiful pastel spring wedding colors.

And who could blame them? Light yellow is now the 2021 Pantone color of the year and pair that with lavender…you can’t help but fall in love with the color combo.

We brought these colors and classic style into Alli & James’s wedding invitations. The invitations were printed twice (damn you COVID) but we could reuse the foil die, which made things as smooth as it could have went. We brought in gold foil into the invitation with light colored florals. The overall style was classic which could be brought into any season.

We also designed Save the Dates, Change the Dates (damn you COVID), ceremony programs, table numbers, thank you cards and a gorgeous mirror seating chart. Everything was beyond beautiful and perfect to their wedding style – no matter what season their wedding ended up being in.

This couple was so fun to work with…laid back and went with the cards that were handed to them in 2020. Alli & James were so appreciative, and that’s something that goes a long way when so many things were up in the air. Congrats to this fantastic couple!
