What a September! Not only did I attend my first Iowa Bridal Show at the HyVee Conference Center Everything Bridal Show in Des Moines, but I had two sets of Invitation Consultations, one in Des Moines and one in Omaha. I’m meeting some fabulous couples with some amazing styles. I’ve heard everything from classic to vintage to beach theme to rainbow. Yes, rainbow (sounds in your face but what they showed me it will be BEAU-TIFUL).
The HyVee Conference Center Everything Bridal Show was great. Approximately 560 couples came through the door and though it started a bit slow, it picked up fast. At one point, I don’t think people could walk by my booth because it was so crowded. The fashion show was great and it was great to see the different vendors available to couples in the Des Moines area.
I met with three couples in Des Moines which I am thrilled about, considering the short notice of my consultation after the bridal show. I met with six couples from Omaha, which may seem like a long day, but I just love the consultation part of this process as I can get into the couples’ heads and understand what they’re envisioning for their wedding day.
