I rarely sit down and chat with one of my couples after their wedding day. Life happens and if I stay in touch over social media, I figure I’m doing good. But I had a chance to catch up with Amie & Eric when they volunteered to help me with one of my own projects.
I recently had some photos taken for my business and I wanted a couple to be in my photos, so I can show how I interact with couples and what an invitation consultation looks like. Amie & Eric were so generous to help me out and I loved talking with them about their wedding day—how fast the day went, how Eric got hit in the head the day before the wedding and about needed stitches (he turned out alright), how glad they were to take their honeymoon right after the wedding—it was so much fun to chat with them!
And during our faux consultation, we looked at their invitation and it was fun to remember how the pieces for that design fell into place. I knew we had to bring in rose gold into their invites and what we came up with was gorgeous. Along with the invitations, we also created Save the Dates, ceremony programs, koozies and cute little sticky note pads!
What was really gorgeous was their wedding day. The outdoor ceremony was in Ellis, Nebraska at a small, country church. Seriously….these photos should be in some Midwest wedding magazine because it is #weddinggoals.
