Fourth of July wedding! Awesome! Red, white and blue and fireworks and all the good old fashion America.
Well, they had fireworks. And after you see the photos below, you’ll agree with me, their style was spot on regardless of the day of the year Kristin and Adam had their wedding on.
This couple was so down-to-earth, which is always refreshing (though, many of my couples are this way). As I look back from the notes I took when I met them, my page is only half full. Maybe because from the few words they told me, I knew exactly the direction they wanted to go. Classic. Romantic. Soft. Blush pink. Lace.
And beautiful. The invitations we came up with were simple as we incorporated a lace border around the entire invitation. Coming up with that blush pink was a challenge but by the time wedding season 2014 was over, I had it mastered. What I absolutely loved about their invitation package was their RSVP. This couple had a lot of great ideas. A lot of fun ideas. And they wanted to incorporate them all. No problem. We incorporated a “Where are you coming from?” map, a “How much will you eat and drink” chart for guests to fill in as well as a mad libs section so people can give their best adjectives and verbs to let Kristin & Adam know if they are coming or not. As Kristin told me, she wanted her guests to open up this beautiful invitation but then see this fun RSVP and know exactly what kind of fun they were going to have.
Bingo.
Thank you to this wonderful couple for allowing me to design for your wedding day. From the photos below, it was a beautiful time! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
