2020 weddings have been a challenge in many regards. From postponements to smaller weddings, I had to learn how to roll with the punches this year.
And things can get even more challenging when the couple doesn’t live in Omaha but are getting married here. But not for Taylor & Angel’s August wedding. For not ever meeting the couple in person, I can’t believe how easy it was to design every aspect of their wedding day.
Throw in that their large August wedding got cut down due to COVID and instead of being at one of Omaha’s nicest venues, the couple moved their wedding to a backyard. But as every 2020 wedding has taught me – location doesn’t matter. Taylor and Angel’s wedding was just as beautiful as I imagined it.
We designed maybe the most amazing invitations this year (okay, I may say that a lot but these are drop dead gorgeous). Black pocket, with black invitations and gold foiling EVERYWHERE. Plus, these invites were wrapped with a black velvet which made this designer’s heart happy.
For day of pieces, we put together some fun black acrylic signs, menus, place cards and a ceremony board, also printed on black acrylic.
Between invites + wedding day, Taylor wanted some cute thank you notes, so we made that happen as well. And of course thank you cards post-wedding as well.
Congrats to this fantastic couple. I hope to bump into you some day down the road. But in the meantime, enjoy your first year together in Philly.
