Sometimes people are meant to be. The universe collides to bring two people together who were just meant to be together.
Dana and Steven? Probably them too, but I’m talking about the bride, Dana and myself. One would think that finding a bride-to-be with the same first name is something special. I mean, how many Danas do you know? There aren’t a lot of us and take in that there are a few guys out there with this name, your chances are less.
And then it hit me when I was designing Dana & Steven’s Save the Date postcard. Not only did Dana and I share our first name, but Dana’s last name was about to change to Osborn. Minus the “e” like mine but still, that’s a pretty big coincidence!
All of that just brought me to love this couple even more. I met them at the DC Centre Bridal Fair and they won my prize I was giving out. I met with Dana, got to know her and her wedding style. Navy and yellow, classic, vintage, yet fun are all things I heard from this happy bride and I couldn’t wait to use their photos to create their Save the Date postcard with personalized monogram. After awhile, we touched base again and they were ready to begin the invitation design process. I designed the invitation, Guest Information card and envelopes which featured their monogram as their return address. We also did the programs for their wedding ceremony as well as an acrylic etched wedding cake topper with their monogram. {LOVE}
Congrats to Dana & Steven on their wedding day and thank you for allowing me to design for you. I enjoyed your unique style and down-to-earth personalities.
