Growing up in a small town, there were things I didn’t realize not everybody understood: knowing how to drive on country roads, you could ride your bike around the entire town, and that everyone would wave or say hi…not only in person but by the “one finger” wave on top of a steering wheel.
I think Madelynn and Alex know exactly what I’m talking about. Their wedding took place at Country Bible Church in Blair, Nebraska. Now, Blair is a big city compared to where I grew up, but it’s definitely small town compared to Omaha. Their reception: Arlington, Nebraska. Get a map out for that one, you city kids.
This couple embraced their style and I fell in love with everything I created for them. Their wedding invitations were busting with burgundy watercolor florals. These were the boldest watercolors I coulda used and it fit them well. My favorite part…a little tractor on the map showing the route from ceremony to reception!
Not only invitations, but koozies, a vinyl cutout for their “in memory” lantern, and ceremony programs for the big day. I knew the koozies would be put to good use. Oh, and don’t forget the Thank You cards with some of the amazing wedding photos from Nathaniel Jensen Photography.
Take a look at the photos from Madelynn and Alex’s big day and I know you’ll feel a bit of small town country roads seeing these as well.
