Brand Guide

Working with the Nebraska Athletic Department to craft their inaugural brand guide was an exhilarating endeavor. With no prior official branding framework in print, our mission was to encapsulate the essence of the department’s identity comprehensively. From meticulously detailing logo specifications and variations to establishing logos that should no longer be used, every facet of the brand’s visual representation was documented.

I was able to work with the creative director and marketing director to establish the direction of the brand guide. From there, it was up to me to visually represent the brand.

With previously working at the Nebraska Athletic Department plus years of freelancing for departments, the idea of a classic yet simple style was the start of the layout. The guide covered many areas from fonts to logos that are no longer in use, so the flow of the brand guide was important.

From the spirited cheers of game days to the heartfelt narratives of student-athlete triumphs, the brand guide delineated a cohesive tone that needs to resonate across all platforms. The brand guide serves not only as a roadmap for consistency but also as a testament to the enduring legacy of Nebraska Athletics.
