Lincoln, Nebraska Light Blue Wedding in the Spring

You gotta stay with me sometimes.

With invitations, I tend to see the whole picture and what I want to create from the beginning (most times). But I start with the invitation design. We gotta get that down perfect before I move on to the other pieces.

For Ashley & Trevor's wedding invitations, I knew what I wanted. But I needed them to stay with me. Because I knew they were going to be fabulous.

And now I realize, as I can see from their wedding photos, their invites matched their big day more than in just the look. The invitations: beautiful, simple, sophisticated. The belly band: BOOM. That's where the party is. And for this couple...I believe their reception was much like the boom this belly band brought. Lots of fun and the statement piece of the entire day.

I love the cobalt blue we brought into these invites and just a touch of the light blue to go with. And finding the perfect floral for these invitations were key...they matched the brides bouquet like I couldn't believe.

With these, we designed gorgeous, bold ceremony programs that Ashley said even the church lady commented on. Now, that's a win in my book.

Throw in a few custom signs, place cards and post-wedding thank you cards, this wedding invitation suite was on point.

Check out these fabulous photos from Intrepid Visuals and enjoy the beauty of my first spring wedding of 2019!
