Embracing their style at their Joslyn Art Museum wedding

I preach this a lot to couples.

Do it your way.

It’s your wedding and (hopefully) this is the only oneyou’re going to get.  So embraceyourselves, your love and your style.

I’m pretty sure Kaitlin and Ethan took those words and ranwith them.  From the first time Imet with Kaitlin, she knew the style they wanted.  Bold florals.  Abit rustic.  But not mason jarrustic.  More of a rustic elegance(ah, I love that term). I mean, the wedding was at the Joslyn Museum, so we arethrowing a lot of elegance in when you’re getting married there.

I came up with the perfect combo for her invites.  Florals were a main part, along withthat burgundy color we brought into everything.  A blush pink belly band wrapped around the invitation suitetoo and I brought in a monogram for them.

One of my favorite pieces I put together for Kaitlin andEthan were their table numbers. Table numbers are one of those things that are easy to skip over. It’s apiece of paper.  With a number.

Unless you want to make them fantastic.  Kaitlin showed me a photo and I went towork.  The card itself of coursecoordinated with her style.  But Ithen wrapped twine around a dowel, glued it to a clothes pin and boom…amazingtable number.  These looked sogreat at their reception at The Mattress Factory.

I had a lot of fun designing for this couple.  When a couple does it their way, Iusually do.
