Black, white and small town wedding dreams in West Point, Nebraska

Black and white stripes.

Usually, dreaming up the design of the envelope liner comes towards the end of the wedding invitation design process.

But for Amanda and Eric's wedding invitations, it was one of the first things we talked about. She knew she wanted the bold, big stripes within the liner of the envelope. Everything else, fell beautifully into place.

Amanda & Eric were married in West Point, Nebraska, which is a town North of Omaha. I'm pretty familiar with this town as we drive through it when we're headed back to my hometown in Northeast Nebraska.

And being from a small town myself, I knew a little about small town weddings. They're a bash. Like the-whole-town-is-invited bash. What was a little different about this small town wedding was the fact it could have easily been placed in New York City and fit in just as well. Black tux, black dress...just classy from start to finish.

Amanda & Eric's wedding invitation is now available on my pre-designed collection right now! I love the simplicity of their invitation and how easily someone could add just a touch of color to make it incredibly different yet perfect for their own wedding.

Check out all the photos below from Katelyn Rowan Photography and enjoy this beautiful, small town wedding.
